dear baby,

today you are 1 day old and i am 10, 280 days old so obviously i win that game.

i wonder what the world will be like when you’re an old lady? i hope there are hover skateboards like in back to the future II cause that hasn’t happened yet which i find rather disappointing.

last night i had a dream that it was your 2nd birthday party and you had on the prettiest little dress with ribbons and poofy-ness and you were sitting up on a table like a doll with all your presents and you were talking and laughing and i think it was actually a vision because it seemed so realistic and you were really beautiful and gracious, just like your mom.

speaking of your mom, i have known that lady for quite some time. in fact i was in her wedding when she got married to your dad which was a really fancy, chic event by the way. too bad you couldn’t make it!

anyways, WELCOME TO THE WORLD baby! and let me say on the world’s behalf, we’re very pleased to have you.
